The Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de Puerto Rico (UNIB), in collaboration with the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (FUNIBER), celebrated the recent awarding of degrees to scholarship students who have completed their distance studies through FUNIBER's Scholarship Program.
The event took place at the event hall of the Honduran Bar Association, where a total of 96 students who completed their graduate programs were recognized. Among them, 87 obtained their degrees through the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), 3 from the International Ibero-American University of Puerto Rico (UNIB), 4 from the International Ibero-American University of Mexico (UNINI Mexico), and 7 students received a double degree from UNIB and UNEATLANTICO.
The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Diego Nuño García, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in Honduras, and Dr. Mónica Gracia, Director of International Admissions of UNEATLANTICO. Gabriela Quijano, FUNIBER's Executive Director in Honduras, and Ms. Belky Brizuela, FUNIBER's Academic Secretariat Coordinator in the country, also attended the event.
Luis Fernando Colindres Núñez, graduate of the Master's Degree in Human Resources and Knowledge Management from UNEATLANTICO, on behalf of the graduates, expressed his sincere gratitude to UNIB and the other institutions for their support throughout the academic process.
Among the degrees awarded were the Master's Degree in Human Resources Management, the Master's Degree in Strategic Management of Health Organizations, and the Master's Degree in Environmental Management and Audits. These programs are highly relevant due to their focus on key areas such as human resource management, health sector strategy and environmental sustainability, responding to current market needs and preparing graduates to lead in their respective fields.
This ceremony underscores UNIB's strong commitment to the formation of skilled and competent leaders, and marks the achievement of years of dedication and effort of the students, who are now prepared to face new challenges in their professional and academic careers.
