Yes. Since it is a 100% online institution, students can enroll in the programs from any country, provided they meet the established academic and technical requirements.

The programs are delivered through the institution's Virtual Campus, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The program is primarily asynchronous, enabling students to organize their study time flexibly and balance their education with their personal and professional responsibilities. It is based on a competency-based methodology, featuring continuous assessment and ongoing academic support, integrating educational technologies with access to digital materials and supplementary print resources to ensure a comprehensive, high-quality education.

Each subject has communication channels within the Virtual Campus that allow for direct interaction with professors and tutors. Students can ask academic questions, participate in forums, and receive feedback on their assignments.

Communication takes place primarily on an asynchronous basis, ensuring continuous academic support.

We recommend spending approximately two hours a day studying, depending on the program and the student’s individual pace.

The University uses identity monitoring systems (proctoring) to ensure academic integrity and honesty in key assessments. Through synchronous and asynchronous video conferencing, students must verify their identity by presenting an official ID and are recorded while taking the exams.

Typically, the program includes at least three proctored exams, administered at approximately the 15%, 45%, and 70% marks of the total course credits.

Requirements vary by academic level:

• Bachelor's Degree: high school diploma or recognized equivalent, valid ID card, official application for admission, proof of proficiency in the language of instruction.
• Master's Degree: Bachelor's degree diploma, valid ID card, official application for admission.
• Doctorate: master's degree, ID card, official application for admission.

The University may require additional documentation in accordance with current regulations.

Yes. UNIB allows up to 40% of the program's credits to be transferred, provided that:

• They are at the same academic level
• You have passed with a minimum grade of A or B
• Credits must not be more than ten years old

Courses are not accepted based on work experience or grades of “satisfactory.”

Students may request academic counseling to assess their situation and the available options in accordance with institutional regulations. Reinstatement will be subject to the provisions set forth in the Institutional Catalog in effect at the time of reinstatement.

UNIB employs:

• Objective assessments (multiple-choice, true/false, matching, and identification questions).
• Subjective assessments (assignments, practical activities, essay exams, forum participation, oral reports, portfolios).

In addition, some programs may include supervised evaluations. The final grade is determined using the GPA scale (A–F) and is calculated by weighting the courses according to their credit hours, in addition to the final project, master’s thesis, or doctoral dissertation, as applicable.

Minimum passing grade:

• Bachelor's degree: C
• Master's and doctoral degrees: B

It is the ongoing adherence to the performance standards established by the University. Failure to comply may result in an academic warning, probation, or suspension.

Yes. Each program specifies a standard duration and a maximum period allowed for completing the academic requirements, in accordance with the Institutional Catalog. Master's programs have a minimum duration of 21 months and a maximum duration of 24 months while doctoral programs have a duration between 60 to 63 months.

Yes. UNIB enforces strict policies against plagiarism, academic fraud, and any conduct that compromises the integrity of the educational process.

Depending on the program, they may include practical application components, capstone projects, or applied research.

In master’s and doctoral programs, the final project or thesis serves as an opportunity to integrate and apply knowledge in the relevant professional or research field.

Yes. UNIB is part of FUNIBER's academic network, which facilitates access to scholarship programs that help reduce the cost of tuition based on established criteria. Scholarships are subject to individual evaluation and the availability of institutional funds. A scholarship is a direct financial award that does not need to be repaid by the student.

The process involves completing the appropriate form and submitting the academic and socioeconomic documentation that supports the information provided.

The interested party must:

• Contact the financial aid officer

• Submit an updated resume

• Submit socioeconomic documentation to support the information provided.

The documentation must be submitted in original form or duly certified, as applicable.

Eligibility for and award of the scholarship are determined following a comprehensive review that takes into account compliance with institutional criteria; the applicant’s socioeconomic and family circumstances; and current budget availability.

The University’s refund policy is set forth in the current Institutional Catalog and Student Handbook, and applies to students who have completed their registration and subsequently decide to withdraw from the program.

For cash payments, the refund percentages apply as follows:

• 100% of the amount paid (excluding the registration fee) if cancellation is requested before the official start of the program.
• 75% of the total amount paid if the cancellation is made within the first eight days of the program's start date.
• 50% of the total amount paid if the cancellation is made between the 9th and the 20th.
• No refunds will be issued after the twenty-first day of classes.

No refunds are issued to students who have opted for monthly payment plans.

The request for withdrawal must be formally submitted in writing to the Office of Student Affairs. The official cancellation date will be the date on which the University receives the corresponding written notice.

Once the student has met all academic and financial requirements, the University begins the administrative process of issuing the diploma. The student will be notified in a timely manner regarding the status of their certification and the issuance of their official diploma.
