The Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (UNIB) in Puerto Rico, in collaboration with the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (FUNIBER), recently organized two diploma award ceremonies in Guatemala. The purpose of these events was to recognize the students awarded scholarships by the FUNIBER Scholarship Program who successfully completed their graduate studies in the institutions of the university network in which UNIB participates.
Both events were held at FUNIBER's auditorium, located in Guatemala City. During the ceremonies, graduates who completed master's and doctoral programs in online mode were highlighted. These professionals obtained their degrees through UNIB, the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) in Spain and the International Ibero-American University of Mexico (UNINI Mexico).
The table of honor was attended by prominent representatives of FUNIBER Guatemala. Among them were Dr. Eduardo Silva, executive director; Dr. (c) Ligia María Lee Guandique, international academic coordinator in Political Sciences, Humanities and Communication; Mgtr. Félix Gutiérrez Alvarado, international academic coordinator of the Law Area; and Dr. (c) Daniel Veras Melgar, director of the Legal Center for Research and Development (CEINDE).
In addition, congratulatory telematic messages were sent to the graduates by Dr. Carol Morales, rector of UNIB; Dr. Luis Dzul, rector of UNINI Mexico; and Dr. Rubén Calderón, rector of UNEATLANTICO. These authorities highlighted the effort and commitment of the scholarship students to reach this important achievement.
With this recognition to its students, UNIB consolidates itself as a fundamental pillar in the formation of leaders capable of contributing to the development of their communities. In collaboration with FUNIBER and its Scholarship Program, it offers students the possibility of managing their responsibilities while they work on building their future, providing them with the necessary tools to achieve their dreams and surpass their academic and professional goals.
