The International Iberoamerican University (UNIB) will organize the webinar "What is ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) and How Can Sustainable Development Be Profitable?", which will be given by Oswaldo Sousa, on May 4th at 11:00 a.m. (Puerto Rico).
The webinar will explain the importance of committing to a sustainable model in the business environment. Businesses that are committed to best management practices end up having a more sustainable operation in several aspects, including economics and risk management, and, as a consequence, generate better results over time.
The speaker will explain the functioning of ESG criteria, which refer to environmental, social and corporate governance factors that are taken into account when investing in a company.
Oswaldo Sousa holds a PhD in Projects from International Iberoamerican University (UNINI-Mexico). He participated in the Global Leadership Program at Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix (Arizona) and has extensive international experience managing operational and administrative areas of a multinational oil and gas company, implementing systems and controls projects in several continents.
