The International Iberoamerican University (UNIB) will organize, next August 4 at 11:00 a.m. (Puerto Rico), in the webinar "Impact of Breastfeeding on Infant Health and Development." It will be given by Gabriela Grover, coinciding with the celebration of World Breastfeeding Week.
The webinar will address the benefits of breastfeeding on the health and development of the infant and its impact on public health in the short and long term in order to address the importance of health professional training on this topic.
Gabriela Grover is a nutritionist that holds a PhD in Public Health Sciences. She has a Diploma in Innovation and Sustainability and has taken different training courses in nutrition, statistics, public health, evidence-based medicine, and the application of quantitative and qualitative methodologies. In addition to teaching, she has participated in several national and international congresses. She is co-author of book chapters on nutrition, on teaching, as well as publications in indexed journals in the area of breastfeeding.
The conference is both free and accessible to all those interested in the topic, and it will be streamed live on YouTube.
