The General Consul and the Education Counselor of the Spanish Embassy in Mexico applaud the "gigantic" work of the universities that participate in its collaboration, among them the International Iberoamerican University.
Last December 3, Mexico City hosted a ceremony in which diplomas were awarded to a students who have completed their studies at the International Iberoamerican University (UNINI-Mexico), the Spanish European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), and the International Iberoamerican University (UNIB).
The ceremony was chaired by the General Consul of the Spanish Embassy in Mexico, Dr. Manuel Hernández Ruigómez; the Counselor for Education of the Spanish Embassy, Dr. Juan Vicente Pérez Hernández; the Rector of UNINI-Mexico, Dr. Luis Alonso Dzul López, and the Director of International Relations in Latin America of UNEATLANTICO, Dr. Mónica Gracia Villar.
The General Consul Hernández Ruigómez pointed out that "universities efforts are a gigantic and continuous work," enriched by a network of collaboration," among them those granting the diplomas at the event. In addition, the Consulate, the Department of Education of the Spanish Embassy in Mexico and the collaborating universities "form a team that promotes the relations between Mexicans and Spaniards" in a setting of "five centuries of continuous Hispanic-Mexican collaboration."
On his turn, the Spanish Minister of Education Pérez Hernández highlighted the objectives of UNIB and the other universities, among which he distinguished: "The democratization of the use of information and communication technologies; equal opportunities in the service of personal; regional and national development; and the development of research, training and distance education. The online learning model brings both sides of the Atlantic closer together." In this sense, he stated that the universities network seeks to "provide the best education and the best tools for access to knowledge."
