The International Iberoamerican University (UNINI Puerto Rico) will organize, on May 20 at 10:00 am (Spain), in the webinar "Challenges of journalism reporting the COVID-19 pandemic", which will be conducted by Santiago Tejedor.
In the webinar, the speaker will review the different challenges that the coronavirus global pandemic has generated in the journalistic scenario. Based on a a series of real cases, the speaker will delve into the demands that the new scenario generated by COVID-19 demands of communication and journalism professionals in terms of competencies and skills.
Santiago Tejedor is professor and director of the Department of Journalism and Communication Sciences at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. D. in Journalism from the UAB and in Project Engineering from the UPC, he has published more than 100 articles, books and book chapters on cyberjournalism, media literacy, new formats and educommunication, among others.
The conference is both free and accessible to all those interested on the topic, and will be streamed live on Youtube.
