The International Iberoamerican University (UNINI Puerto RIco) will organize the webinar "Women in Photography, Protagonism and Relevance," which will be given by Patricia Lagarde and Patricia Conde, on March 24 at 12:00 pm (Mexico).
This conference, coinciding with the celebration of March 8 in favor of women's equality, will conclude the month and explore the role of this group in the photographic field.
Patricia Conde is the Director of her own gallery and has specialized in contemporary photography in Mexico. On the other hand, Patricia Lagarde is also a photographer and her images have been exhibited in museums and galleries in different countries.
Patricia Conde will discuss to webinar attendees the relevance of women artists in the photographic field, analyzing very specific and varied ways of thinking, seeing and feeling through photographic images. She will be accompanied by photographer Patricia Lagarde, who will review her work, and by Michelle Moreira Soares, Director of the Specialization in Photography a program promoted by FUNIBER.
The conference is both free and accessible to all those interested in the topic, it and will be streamed live.
