The International Iberoamerican University (UNIB) will organize the webinar "High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT): theory and application", which will be conducted by Iker Muñoz, on January 20 at 12:00 pm (Puerto Rico).
The webinar will cover the main variables to be taken into account, and modified, when performing HIIT training. At the same time, the main physiological adaptations related to HIIT training and how to introduce it in our training programs will be presented.
HIIT training consists of alternating short periods of high-intensity exercise with longer intervals of recovery or light exercise.
Iker Muñoz has a PhD in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and is the Sports Director of the Tunea Academy platform.
