The International Ibero-American University (UNIB), in collaboration with the Cantabrian Basketball Federation will organize, next June 30th at 14:00 p.m. (Puerto Rico), in the webinar "The Importance of the Game Without the Ball in a Series Attack to Make the Game Unpredictable", which will be given by Ramón Jordana Dot.
In this webinar it will not be discussed the advantages obtained from the 1v1 game with the ball, but the advantages obtained from the game without the ball, implementing new ideas to make the game unpredictable, so that the rival teams suffer when scouting our team. Basketball coaches generally design their offensive structures with the idea of getting the ball into the player's hands, who has enough space and time to execute a shot with a high percentage of success, while the work of the defense will consist of denying these spaces and shots. Ramón Jordana Dot has more than forty years of experience as a basketball coach, in which he has won several national and international titles, both as a club and national team coach.
He has worked in the Spanish Basketball Federation as assistant coach of the senior women's national team on several occasions; women's national team coach in training categories, with which he has won two gold medals and a silver medal in European Championships; coordinator of talent detection and training programs; head of the National Coaches School; tutor of the National Coaches Course and author of the textbooks for the training of coaches of the Spanish Basketball Federation.
