The Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de Puerto Rico (International Iberoamerican University) (UNIB) will organize this Wednesday, February 8 at 14:00 hours (Spain), in the webinar "Broadband policy. The Digital sector, ecosystem," from the Foundation's YouTube channel.
The session will be given by Miguel López Coronado and is part of the Jean Monnet Chair "Telecommunications Policy in the EU and Information Society" held by the university.
Broadband is the term commonly used to refer to faster Internet speeds and other technical features that enable access to or delivery of new content, applications, and services. Due to the growing importance of digital data, good Internet connections are essential not only for European businesses to remain competitive in the global economy but also, more generally, to foster social inclusion. Therefore, this topic will introduce the digital sector with the ecosystem it produces in the global economy and society.
The event is held in collaboration with the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic) (UNEATLANTICO), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (International Iberoamerican University) (UNINI MX), the Universidade Internacional do Cuanza (International University of Cuanza) (UNIC), and the Universidad de La Romana (University of La Romana) (UNIROMANA).
The conference is free and open to all those interested in the subject, and it will be broadcast live in each country via YouTube. The broadcasting schedules can be consulted in this link.
