The journal, published twice a year in Spanish and English, covers different approaches to the field of clinical psychology, psychotherapy, educational psychology, developmental psychology, neuropsychology, social psychology, etc.

MLS Psychology Research (MLSP) accepts and publishes manuscripts also in Portuguese. The articles received are submitted to a peer review process based on anonymity and managed directly on the OJS platform. The reception of articles is open throughout the year.

In this new issue, the authors discuss a series of topical scientific articles, beginning with the perception of stress in older adults and the therapeutic use of social robots in the COVID-19 pandemic era. Another topic addressed is the impact of stigma on the quality of life of adults with HIV/AIDS, a work that was born with the purpose of finding out if there was an aggravation of the consequences of HIV after the perception of stigma.

On the other hand, an article derived from the Doctoral Thesis research on resilience, disability, and higher education is included under the title "Growing through adversity: the resilience of students with disabilities at the Universidad Nacional, Costa Rica."

This volume also includes the topic "Drug dependence and emotional dysregulation: a systematic review," which provides two explanatory models of emotional regulation.

In addition, the journal includes a study on psychological harassment at work (Mobbing) and its impact on the climate and work performance in teachers of the public school system of the southern area of Puerto Rico.

Finally, a study analyzes the relationship between experiential avoidance, ruminative response style, and insomnia as a function of sex, age, and academic level. Under the title "Correlational study: experiential avoidance, insomnia and rumination in adolescents."

The journal is edited by "Multi-Lingual Scientific (MLS) Journals," an open access publisher based in Santander (Spain).
