The International Iberoamerican University (UNIB) will organize, next October 19 at 11:00 a.m. (Puerto Rico), in the webinar "Advanced techniques in load control with RPE in soccer", which will be conducted by Fernando Guerrero.
The webinar, held in collaboration with the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER)the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) and the International Iberoamerican University of México (UNINI-Mexico)the course focuses on the importance of load control and quantification for any physical trainer, regardless of the sport and the competitive level of his or her athletes.
Currently, technology in team sports, and more specifically in soccer, is largely reserved for professional teams or those with the greatest wealth. However, this webinar will show that, with the proper use and management of subjective variables such as the Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE), an excellent level of accuracy and control can be achieved. The use of these tools will allow the physical trainer to improve decisions regarding the conditional aspect of the players.
Fernando Guerrero Cayuela has a degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences from the University of Murcia, with studies in performance and functional assessment. He is currently pursuing a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. The speaker has been a physical trainer in futsal for five years, during this period he has worked in the first division of three different leagues and countries (Kuwait, Italy and Spain). Currently, he is a physical trainer in the Jimbee Cartagena team, which plays in the Spanish First Division.
The conference is both free and accessible to all those interested on the topic, and will be streamed live in each country on YouTube. Broadcasting schedules can be consulted at the following link.
