The Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (International Iberoamerican University) (UNIB) awards university degrees to Panamanian professionals who have successfully completed their postgraduate studies. At the ceremony, the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic) (UNEATLANTICO) and the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (International Iberoamerican University of Mexico) (UNINI Mexico) were present to congratulate the graduates.
The ceremony was attended by the Vice-Minister for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Panama, the Honorable Yill Otero; the representative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Panama, Gabriel Alou; second in command, Mr. Andrés Mojica García De Paredes; representative of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republic and as representative of the Dean of the School of Biosciences and Public Health of the Universidad Especializada de las Américas, Mr. Andrés Jones.
The degrees have been delivered with the assistance of Dr. Mónica Gracia, Director of Cooperation of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico; Dr. Gregorio Urriola Candanedo; and Mrs. Elizabeth Pérez, UNEATLANTICO representative in Panama.
UNIB highlights the work of UNINI Mexico and UNEATLANTICO as educational institutions that collaborate closely by maintaining an active agreement.
For his part, Dr. Urriola Candanedo expressed his satisfaction with the rich harvest represented by the variety of degrees awarded to the country this year in innovative and relevant fields to leverage Panama's development, as well as the growing presence of UNIB as a collaborating university.
At the end of the event, the graduates and their families enjoyed wine and food prepared in their honor.
