The Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (International Iberoamerican University, UNIB) held a graduation ceremony in Costa Rica, in collaboration with the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (Iberoamerican University Foundation, FUNIBER), the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), and the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana Internacional (International Iberoamerican University of Mexico, UNINI México).
The ceremony took place in the Rogelio Fernández Güell Auditorium of the College of Journalists. The event began with a warm welcome from Ms. Lady Herrera, director of the Institutional Scholarships Department and business coordinator at FUNIBER Costa Rica. This was followed by a message from the university rectors, Dr. Luis Dzul, rector of UNINI Mexico, and Dr. Ruben Calderón, rector of UNEATLANTICO, followed by the keynote address by Dr. Roberto Ruiz, vice-rector for International Relations at UNEATLANTICO. Dr. Ruiz highlighted the dedication of the students during their educational process, congratulated the graduates on their achievement, and recognized the important role of their families in this academic journey.
During the ceremony, academic degrees were awarded at four levels: doctorates, master's degrees, specializations, and university experts. The degrees covered areas such as public health, strategic management, education, psychology, environment, nutrition, coaching, law, gerontology, bioethics, linguistics, project management, sports performance, and data science, among others.
The academic diversity reflected in the programs and the commitment of each graduate were the highlights of an emotionally charged day. The ceremony culminated with a group photo session by university and a coffee break for graduates, family members, and institutional representatives from FUNIBER and UNEATLANTICO to share. We congratulate all our graduates and wish them every success in this new professional stage of their lives!
