The Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (International Ibero-American University, UNIB) participated in the 2026 Annual Convention of the United Retailers Center (CUD). This event brought together merchants, professionals, business leaders, partners, and international guests to exchange knowledge and strengthen professional relationships.
The convention was held as part of the CUD’s 135th anniversary and included educational activities, networking opportunities, and oportunities to share experiences and best practices. The initiative aims to strengthen collaborative networks, identify business and trade opportunities, and introduce participants to business cases and models linked to Puerto Rico’s economic development.
Presentation of Academic Programs
Representing UNIB, the university´s rector, Dr. Carol Morales, participated in one of the convention’s featured sessions, where she presented the institution and shared information about its academic programs, highlighting the university’s fully online programs.
During her remarks, Dr. Morales also highlighted the collaboration agreement between UNIB and the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER). This gave her an opportunity to explain the available educational options to attendees and introduce the University’s educational offerings to individuals from various professional and business sectors.
