The Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de Puerto Rico (UNIB), in collaboration with the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (FUNIBER), organized a graduation ceremony for FUNIBER scholarship students in Ecuador who have successfully completed their online graduate studies.
The event was held at the “Eloy Alfaro” Civic Center Theater in the city of Guayaquil. On this occasion, 300 students were recognized for completing their studies at UNIB, as well as at the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (UNEATLANTICO) and the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (UNINI Mexico).
Enrique Espinel Maila, executive director of FUNIBER in Ecuador; M.Sc. David Lolin, director of Processes; and Dr. Daniel Gavilanes Aray, director of FUNIBER's Technology Center, who also received his doctorate degree in Projects during the ceremony. Angie García Macías, FUNIBER's financial coordinator, and Néstor Petraccaro Guerrero, UNEATLANTICO's representative in Ecuador, were also present.
As guests of honor, M.Sc. Patricia Benalcázar, director of the School of Good Governance and FCME Training; M.Sc. Katty Plaza Flores, rector of the Milenium Private Educational Unit; M.Sc. Annabelle Ledergerber Bayona, rector of the Duplos Educational Unit; and M.Sc. Kenia Celena Gallo Navarrete, academic coordinator of Initial Education of the Duplos Educational Unit, participated.
At the ceremony, the authorities recognized the effort, commitment and dedication of the graduates, highlighting the skills acquired that will be fundamental in their professional development. They also thanked the support of their families, an essential pillar during the training process.
UNIB reaffirms its commitment to higher education through its graduate programs, facilitating access to distance learning master's and doctoral degrees.
