
The Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (International Iberoamerican University, UNIB), in collaboration with the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (Iberoamerican University Foundation, FUNIBER) Nicaragua, held a graduation ceremony to recognize the effort and dedication of 16 scholarship students who successfully completed their online academic programs.
The ceremony took place at the Hilton Princess in Managua, where graduates received their diplomas as a symbol of their academic achievement at institutions within their university network: UNIB, the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), and the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (International Iberoamerican University of Mexico, UNINI México).
The event was opened by the chargé d'affaires of the Spanish Embassy in Nicaragua, His Excellency Diego Mourelle, who congratulated the scholarship recipients and reaffirmed Spain's commitment to promoting multicultural education. Also in attendance were Dr. María José Mejía García, president of the Superior Council of the Comptroller General of the Republic, and Julio Cesar Santos, executive director of FUNIBER Nicaragua.
The event also included the virtual participation of Dr. Rubén Calderón, rector of UNEATLANTICO, and Dr. Luis Alonso Dzul López, rector of UNINI Mexico, who congratulated the graduates and highlighted their dedication and perseverance in this personal and professional achievement.
With this diploma ceremony, UNIB recognizes the effort and excellence of the scholarship students, reaffirming its commitment to the professional development of those who seek to achieve their goals through educational opportunities.
