The Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (International Iberoamerican University, UNIB) participated on March 7 and 8 in the first European university fair, held in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This event brought together 16 academic institutions from Spain, Italy, Portugal, England and Switzerland, consolidating itself as a key space for strengthening ties between European educational centers and Puerto Rican universities.
Representing the university were the rector, Carlo Morales, and the director of admissions, Ms. Roselyn La Viera. The event was organized by Mónica de la Peña in collaboration with Beyond Education, and was held at the Mater Salvatoris School in Puerto Rico, with the aim of promoting academic and cultural exchange between the participating institutions.
UNIB, as part of the international network of universities of the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (Iberoamerican University Foundation, FUNIBER), presented to attendees the advantages of its educational model, which includes the possibility of studying at a distance and obtaining a double degree in collaboration with other international universities such as the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) in Spain. During the event, the university representatives offered detailed information about its academic offering, scholarship opportunities and the innovative approach that characterizes the institution. They also personally attended to interested students and families, answering questions and guiding them through the admissions process.
UNIB's participation in this fair reaffirms its commitment to the academic and professional development of Puerto Rican students, providing them with access to new opportunities for training and growth. With this type of initiative, the university continues to promote educational excellence and contribute to the progress of the region.
UNIB is proud to be part of events that promote global education and strengthen its mission of training highly qualified professionals to face the challenges of today's world.
