The Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (International Iberoamerican University, UNIB), has attended the Educational Congress 2024, organized by the Private Education Association (Asociación de Educación Privada), in order to strengthen education in Puerto Rico, to raise it to the highest standards of quality.
This event was held at the Puerto Rico Convention Center, bringing together more than 80 private educational institutions in the country with the purpose of joining efforts to strengthen the quality of education.
The president of the Private Education Association of Puerto Rico, Prof. Emma Sulsona Gándara, said "You are the architects of change. I urge you to immerse yourselves in deep reflection, to transcend the limits of the conventional, and to discover the power you possess to unleash in your students a kaleidoscope of possibilities," thus urging the authorities of educational institutions to assume the responsibility that comes with training, whether of children or professionals, since education is currently the most important pillar in society.
UNIB has participated in this educational congress given the potential that it can contribute by offering its academic offerings in master's degrees and doctorates, in addition to the great benefit it would produce in its educational community, aligned with its mission, committed to train competent, autonomous professionals, with the purpose of contributing to social, cultural, and economic development in an intercultural context under the principles of education for all and the universalization of knowledge through a quality distance model.
The activity has also recognized the work and dedication of teachers and students throughout Puerto Rico, encouraging them to maintain education within the highest standards, thus forming the youth and giving them the tools they need to face the future with optimism.
