The Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de Puerto Rico (International Iberoamerican University, UNIB) will organize, on March 20 at 4:00 p.m. (GMT +1), the webinar: "Leadership. New groups, old practices: Where should we direct the management of our work groups?" which will be presented by Zaily Velázquez.

The event is held in collaboration with the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (International Iberoamerican University of Mexico, UNINI México), the Fundación Universitaria Internacional de Colombia (International University Foundation of Colombia, UNINCOL), the Universidade Internacional do Cuanza (International University of Cuanza, UNIC), and the Universidad de La Romana (University of La Romana, UNIROMANA).

In times where immediacy and constant change trap organizational dynamics, it is increasingly necessary to rethink the keys to effective leadership and teamwork. This conference will present some ideas for building highly collaborative teams. Practical strategies to inspire members, encourage open communication, and promote creative problem solving will be presented. It will address how to forge meaningful connections, empower teams, and cultivate an environment that fosters collective success.

Zaily Velázquez is a professor and researcher in the area of Psychology and Business at the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana, UNINI Mexico, currently pursuing a PhD in Projects.  Velázquez has more than 10 years of experience in higher education working with institutions in Cuba and Mexico. She is co-author of several book chapters and articles in scientific journals. She has participated in national and international congresses on psychology, education, and organizational management.

The conference is free of charge and open to anyone interested in the topic. It will be broadcast live in each country where FUNIBER is present.
