UNIB holds a graduation ceremony in Guatemala for its scholarship recipients

The Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (International Ibero-American University, UNIB), in collaboration with the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (Ibero-American University Foundation, FUNIBER), held a graduation ceremony in Guatemala, an event that marked the culmination of an important academic cycle for its scholarship students. This celebration not only recognizes individual effort, but also underscores the university's commitment to educational excellence and professional development in the region.

A total of 49 students received their diplomas after successfully completing their study programs at institutions in the FUNIBER University Network, such as the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México ( International Iberoamerican University of Mexico, UNINI Mexico), and UNIB.

The head table, presiding over the ceremony, was made up of prominent figures from the academic and management fields. Dr. Eduardo Silva, executive director of FUNIBER Guatemala, led the ceremony, accompanied by Daniel Veras, director of CEINDE, and Karin Toc, director of the Academic Secretariat. Their presence highlighted the importance of the event and the institutional support for the new professionals.

During his speech, Dr. Silva addressed words of congratulations to the graduates. In his speech, he emphasized the perseverance, discipline, and dedication that each student demonstrated throughout their academic career. He also encouraged them to continue their education, highlighting the importance of continuing education in a constantly evolving world. "This achievement is only the beginning of a path full of opportunities and challenges. Continue to cultivate your knowledge and apply your skills to build a promising future," said Dr. Silva.

For his part, Dr. Rubén Calderón, rector of UNEATLANTICO, joined in the congratulations through a message sent via the web. In his speech, he praised the new knowledge acquired by the professionals and the positive impact they will have in their respective fields. This gesture symbolizes the connection and support of the entire International University Network.

The ceremony was the setting for the awarding of degrees in a wide range of disciplines, such as the Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management, International Master's Degree in Auditing and Business Management, International Master's Degree in Political Science, Master's Degree in Criminalistics, Master's Degree in University Teaching, Master's Degree in Education, Master's Degree in Clinical and Health Psychology, Master's Degree in Public Health, Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Master's Degree in Design, Management, and Project Management, among others.

With this recognition of its students, UNIB reaffirms its commitment to the professional training of individuals who aspire to achieve their goals and attain higher levels of knowledge in various disciplines. Once again, the university positions itself as a fundamental pillar for promoting new leaders and highly trained professionals, contributing significantly to the social and economic development of Guatemala.
