The Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (Ibero-American International University, UNIB) stood out at the recent annual Biz Growth Summit, organized by the United Retailers Center (CUD) in the city of Ponce, Puerto Rico. The event, which took place from August 14 to 17, brought together important figures from the government and business sectors.
Among the guests were the Governor of Puerto Rico, the Honorable Jennifer González, the Resident Commissioner, the Honorable Pablo José Hernández, the Mayor of Ponce, Marlese Sifre, and the Mayor of Kissimmee, Florida (USA), the Honorable Jackie Espinosa, Mike Steigerwald, Municipal Administrator of Kissimmee, Dr. Ramón Barquin, along with other renowned delegates. Representing UNIB was Dr. Carol Morales, Rector of the University.
The main objective of the convention was to bring together business leaders from across the island to offer them an educational agenda in line with the latest market trends. Opportunities for interaction were provided to foster strategic alliances and explore opportunities available to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Puerto Rico.
