The Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (Iberoamerican University Foundation, FUNIBER) and IPMA Austral, in collaboration with the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (Iberoamerican International University, UNIB), have announced a new call for applications for scholarships to obtain the International Certification in Professional Project Competences IPMA Level D. This program, which will be delivered online, will begin in June 2025.
Within the framework of the collaboration agreement between FUNIBER and IPMA Argentina, this initiative aims to facilitate access to an international certification recognized for its quality in project management. IPMA, one of the most prominent organizations in this field, is dedicated to “promoting competence throughout society to ensure the success of all projects.” To this end, it has established a global standard covering key competencies in project management.
The IPMA Level D certification is designed both for those who wish to enter the professional field of project management and for those who seek to consolidate or begin a certified career in this sector. This program allows participants to accredit knowledge and skills in various areas of specialization, complementing the academic training offered by the universities associated with FUNIBER. It also provides tools and opportunities that strengthen the professional profile of participants.
The program has a single annual start date, scheduled for June 2025, and applications will be open for a limited time. Thanks to the agreement between FUNIBER and IPMA Argentina, applicants will be eligible for scholarships with significant benefits. Requirements to apply include having previously received a scholarship from FUNIBER and being an active student at one of the universities in its network. No previous experience is required, as Level D is intended as an introduction to the professional career, focusing on assessing knowledge of the key competencies defined by IPMA.
The certification process will be completely virtual and is aimed at people from all over Latin America, except Brazil. For more information or to apply for a scholarship, interested parties can write to the following email address: info.ipma@funiber.org.
