The International Iberoamerican University (UNIB), on June 16 at 11:00 am (Puerto Rico), will organize the webinar "Diet to save the planet", which will be conducted by Laura Martin.
The speaker will begin the webinar by explaining the possibility of establishing a single diet model and will then delve into the impact of our current diet on the environment. The webinar will explain the current food system and social beliefs currently associated with food. In addition, tips for sustainable, healthy and consistent eating will be offered.
Laura Martín holds a PhD in Public Health and a Master's degree in International Health and Cooperation. In addition, she has 5 years of experience as a Food Quality Auditor and Coordinator of the Health and Fight against Malnutrition Department of the Coconut Water Foundation in Madagascar for almost 2 years. He currently teaches at the International Iberoamerican University (UNIB).
Her interest in sustainable food also led her to the creation of the website Nutrition and Zero Hunger. A space that delves into the responsibility of humans to choose a more responsible consumption that avoids food waste and investigates options for sustainable food in their environment.
